OBSESSION

Cheerleading is something I OBSESS over. It is a huge part of my life. For 18 years, my career comes down to one last year :(
The above photo is the start of a stunt. A true cheerleader can always tell in the first count if the stunt is going to stick.
As soon as the bases drive the stunt to the top it is in the strength of the flyer to pull her positions and make the judges look at her and show them her attitude.
Once you hit the last position of your routine that you have worked on for months, after all the hard work, long practices, times that you thought you could not continue, you finished. The crowd applause's and you know that you did it!
That 3 hour practice is not finished until the mats are flipped and rolled up. Just like the entire routine, cleaning up mats cannot be done by one person.

Cheerleaders rely on each other till the end. It takes 4 people to complete a partner stunt, 12 people to complete a pyramid, and 15 people to complete an entire routine. 1 cheerleader cannot do it all by herself just like 1 football player cannot win a game alone.
